• A:Answer There are limits to the crossover settings. However I used the DIRAC software included (huge bonus!) and am satisfied with the results. Running all Martin Logan speakers except 4 Klipsch SA500's for height. I am running an external amp for the front (left, right and center). You can add amps for all channels. Check the specs for 8K. Page 207 of the manual. There are 6 inputs but I haven't tested as I have no 8k equipment. Proper cables are required. No software update needed as these are ready to go. You can update software but mine came current and fully functional.

• A:Answer Looked it up, and reviews say LX505 has the best sync features over this model, it doesn't list Bluetooth as a feature and is 7.2 compared to 9.2 which is speaker-specific for the up-firing Atmos speakers.
