Excellent question. Problem is, it's not specified in the user/installation manual, curiously enough; there are ten (10) rear panel input/outputs on the diagram, but manual does not indicate size or type, but their function only (mic, antenna, fuse, sub-woofer etc.). I can only assume that Pioneer assumes that car stereo installers across the American landscape are a bright and experienced lot and that such details are unimportant. On a certain level, I have to agree as my unit was installed in less than an hour and works wonderfully. I doubt this helps our friend Shaggy as it sounds like he is probably planning doing the installation himself. All in all, a mixed bag, I'm sure we can all agree.
