The HL10 enables you to answer/end calls from the headset. The HL10 lifter will sit on your phone under the handset. When you turn the CS540 headset on, the lifter will lift the handset off of the hook answering the call. When you turn the CS540 headset off, the lifter will hang the handset up ending the call.
