“Can someone please confirm that this is for USB-C and NOT Thunderbolt. Item is marketed for Macbooks...I thought Macbooks are using Thunderbolt and not USB-C. My laptop has USB-C, and will not work if cable is for Thunderbolt. Thanks.”

• This cable works for most laptops with a USB-C port that supports DP Alt Mode.

• This cable IS for USB-C. I bought it for a neighbor so that they could connect their MAC laptop to the HDMI port on a large screen monitor. They'd been watching NETFLIX, etc. on their laptop screen.
