• A:Answer Yes at times it does do that, make sure you have the flash turned on and not for automatic, maybe that works. The external flash is new for me so I'm still trying to figure it out. Good luck.

• A:Answer Yes.. if your camera has a "On camera Hot Shoe".. yes. It's the metal piece located above your on camera flash, on your camera. Google Hot Shoe and look at images. See if you have this on your camera and if so, your good to go.
