• Yes. Its blue and no it isnt very bright. The light is inside the port so you dont have to worry about being blinded

• No. Just the Lightning no tip is illuminated, not the usb end. Light is white and only illuminates when you touch the lightning end, and only stays lit for about 5 seconds after released.
