• The newer iPhones use what Apple calls a Thunder connector. They are interchangeable with what the non-Apple world calls USB C in every way.

• No unfortunately this product has connection capabilities only for usb c. iPhones, the newest ones at least, currently support the lightning port. Although they look semi similar they are not the same connection at all.

• No, it would not, as iPhones still use the Lightning Connector. I would recommend looking into Apple's Camera Connection Kit, which has a full sized USB port, and connects to the Lightning port of iPhones and iPads (not the 2018 iPad Pro models, though).
