• All PS4 games will be upscaled to 4K via game update on PS4 Pro, so no need for a UHD player. If all you care about is the UHD for movies and such, then don't bother buying the PS4 Pro. people buy a GAME CONSOLE for playing games on, not movies!!!

• I'd like 4K Blu Ray support, but the point of the console is really for games to run better. Blu Ray is sort of a bonus. I'd sure like it, but I'd assume they left it at "regular" 1080p Blu Ray to help keep costs under control.

• Sony has lowered costs of the system by not including UHD player. They choice was made because of constantly failing and dropping Blu Ray disc sales every quarter. Everyone is switching to 4K streaming or 4K digital, so Sony took a gamble and kept the price low, but still FULLY supports 4K media, just not from UHD Blu Ray.

• No UHD. Not on sale because it's not even released yet. It upscales to 4K, but is not native 4K,
