A:Answerorder online on release date at midnight and you can then pick-up at ur nearest best buy or ship it to ur house. they won't have any in store purchases.
A:Answerlol, me too! I hope you aren't an Elite Plus Member like I am, thinking maybe you can get a first crack or heck the email slightly prior to the pre-order start (by slightly, I am thinking 10 min before not 3 hours after). Best Buy shouldn't blame Sony, Sony doesn't control their website plus Sony said they would start pre-orders Sept. 17th not Sept 16th before they even announced the date. Best Buy sucks and I am taking all the sales my real estate company gives, somewhere else. Literally anywhere else and won't mind paying more if I get treated better.
A:AnswerIt may become available throughout the next week or so, but it is a likely no. The website was selling them for 8 hours with a lot of technical traffic issues, so it's unfortunate to say that if you haven't gotten your preorder, then you likely won't get one until after release.
A:AnswerHonestly, the best way to get one (without paying over MSRP) is to go through an app called "HotStock". Pay for the premium account (trust me, I had premium for 2 days before I bought my PS5) and go through the prompts. It will send you alerts on when stores get new stock. Ensure that you have your information stored on the different stores that way WHEN you get an alert, you can press it, login, add it and buy it. That's EXACTLY what I did when I got mine. Good Luck!
A:Answeronly took a chance in asking the Pick up counter if they have PS5 in stock. To my surprise he said “yes we do”. They only had 3 console that day. I was just lucky.
On the app and website, its always out of stock. So its better to swing buy your local Best Buy and ask, ask the pick up counter people because they have it at the back for sure.
A:AnswerEveryone is trying to find a PS5. The best thing to do is download the app "HotStock" this app will notify you when stores have stock of the PS5. When you download it and set your preferences, purchase the premium front of the line option. This (as stated above) gets you notified before the non paid users. I had premium for 2 days before getting a notification. Make sure you have auto login for the stores you're looking for (walmart, target, bestbuy etc.) that way when you get the alert, it will take you straight to that product, and the store and all you have to do is login, add and buy. It was that easy. Good Luck.
A:AnswerYou first have to be a TotalTech member with Best Buy. Then when the Playstation 5 becomes available you can add it to your cart. You might be entered into a virtual line; at that point when it becomes your turn you'll have 10 minutes to complete your order. There is no wait list, just first available.
A:AnswerYou can't. They keep posting them to their website only instead of selling in store one per customer. So they sell out immediately by scalpers then end up on eBay and double the price. So good luck getting one through the website
A:AnswerPreorders took place over a year ago. The main problem is this console is in very high demand. Over 100 million playstation 4s were sold and and many of those who purchased now need to upgrade to the playstation 5. Over 10 million playstation 5s have sold which means there are approximately 90 million still trying to get theirs. This is not helped by scalpers who are buying the consoles for the purpose of resale and ultimately have received a majority of them. Your best bet at getting one at msrp is to wait until there is news of an instore event. As long as you are not in a major city like LA or NYC, you should be able to get one by arriving around 5:30am just to be safe. It took me over a year to get and there is no sign that this will go away soon.
