There is an additional addon for I believe 80 dollars that allows you to use disc game, but out of the box it only runs digital.

This is the slim digital version, so you can't play discs on that.

if you do buy a disc game you would have to buy the drive but anyway that yes you will have to buy the digital game.

You can only buy digital games but you can buy a separate disk drive and attach it with a easy you tube tutorial!
