I want to buy the new PS5 for my girlfriend for Christmas. I don't play video games so I don't know what she would need. Can somebody tell me if just the console and the one controller would be enough or does she need something else? null

You need to monitor to display. And you need a game to play, You can either buy a digital game online or buy a physical one. PS5 digital version only accepts the digital game. And buying the PS5 will come with a controller, And other stuff is all accessory. You can buy it, but it's not necessary

An extra controller and charging station for sure and if you plan to watch disc based movies the media remote
