From what I understand the PlayStation 5 will eventually get a update to support both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Please try again later.No, the fact not very many people have either Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision on their home audio system it would not make sense for Sony to pay for the rights to use that currently. When both become more affordable (like tv's with HDMI 2.1) I believe Sony will make the update to their system to support it. The hardware is there to handle it, but it's a matter of paying Dolby to use their codecs. Besides the 3d Audio Sony has built-in currently sounds fantastic.
