• File size is determined by the scanner settings. If you want the smallest file sizes, you can set the scan mode to Black and White with a resolution of 200 dpi. This will give you a file size of about 10KB/page for a typical single sided business document. So for a 10 page document you can expect a file size of about 100KB (0.1 MB). If you scan in color at a higher resolution, the file sizes will be larger.
