• If your computer has a USB-C slot and you use the USB-C connection on this device, then no, but you can use a USB cable and plug into the standard USB.

• No. Your phone cannot be charged by cable while the memory stick is connected. However, if your phone supports wireless charging then you could charge it wirelessly withe the device connected during a big file transfer
