It’s two 8gb RAM so as long you have space for both then you can upgrade to 16gb but if not then you’ll only be able to upgrade to one 8gb. Also make sure your RAM is DDR3 because if not it will not fit at all. This RAM also designed for laptops. I’m assuming your chromebook is a laptop. Also honestly the easiest way to be sure it will work is to take your 4Gb RAM to Best Buy and they can find exactly what type you need.
