• The 2012 macbook pro only supports a maximum of 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHz type RAM and only 4GB per slot so you would need 2 4gb sticks of PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHz type RAM so this ram is incompatible
