Apply moderate amount of pressure to the rounded end.

You really need to push it out. I just wrote a review on this and had the same complaint. I purchased because it was inexpensive but would not recommend this flash drive. Other brands are much better.

The clear plastic slides back and forth.

just pull back on the outer casing until the usb shows
