• This is a DRAMLESS drive. Should be fine for general long term game storage. for those Games you dont want to uninstall but dont want on the main drive.

• It’s an ssd so no dram it uses flash memory chips

• I think you are talking about something else, this is a solid state drive, basically a hard drive without moving parts. So in theory, it should last longer than a normal hard drive. It might even last longer if it had thermal cooling attached.
