Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it works. I replaced my drive on my own MacBook Pro and it’s as easy as 1 2 3. You only have to remove a bunch of screws and that’s it. And you would be able to install the latest unsupported macOS on to it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tbh in the 2-3 yrs Apple will probably start cutting support. It’s also no easy task to take apart a Apple computer I would look at YouTube on Luis Rosemans channel as he fixes computers and probably can show you what needs to be done let alone ship it to him for him to do
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work, but I would recommend a larger ssd for mac's, as that the mac os is full of bloatware. (unnecessary software). like a five hundred gig or larger ssd. and yes it will make it a whole lot faster.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have the non retna display MacBook Pro then this will work. You can either clone your old hard drive onto this one prior to installing the ssd or make a bootable install disk of macOS. It is a pretty straightforward install once you remove the screws to open up the bottom of your laptop. This drive will speed up your machine tremendously! Good luck!
