“I bought my duo link awhile back but since then have upgraded to an iphone 11. The duo link doesn’t seem to be compatible for iphone 11 and later. Is there some way I can get it to work for newer iPhones”

Make sure you have downloaded the proper app . There is a Duo 3 and 4. The app is critical for operation.
