You should be able to use it. While the USB connector is limited to 2.0 speeds on most Apples, the mini connector is Not Apple "centric "... Works with android and other devices so it is a great way to copy or move files from non Apple products to your Apple.devices with a standard USB port.

You should be able to use it with ANY device that has a Micro-USB port on it as far as I know !
