To get an idea of how many pics you can get on 64gb you will have to know about what your average picture file sizes are. Read on to learn why. It depends on the size of you picture files and type of file. If you are talking smartphones then it will most likely be .jpg file and its size will vary depending on the mega-pixel size the cameras in the phone. New high end phones have several cameras in them and the pixel count can vary between them depending on model and brand. Also bare in mind that .jpg files also vary in size depending on what the photo is of. Say you took a photo of the moon in the blue sky in the afternoon. The moon is very small and it's mostly sky. It will be a smaller file then if you took a photo of a grove of trees in the winter with lots of branches that fills the frame. The more detail, the larger the file. Using a DSLR or mirrorless camera and shooting .raw files? Those file sizes will be larger but similar in size regardless of subject. Raw files it the data straight off of the camera sensor and not compressed like .jpg. So if .jpg files then the same applies as with smartphones. I hope this helps without being overkill.
