• Yes you can. But if your gonna do it as a boot-able usb drive, just remember to change the start-up options in your bios. Then that way, it will boot from the usb, so you can then install windows xp. That is of course, if this is what your doing.

• You should be able to provided your bios supports booting from a USB drive.
