Personal experience with this. On a 3.1 type A port, max write speed I've seen is 95Mbs sustained for a 1.5G file. However, when writing thousands of small files, the write speed slows to as little as 3mbs, but on average it maintains speeds of about 40-45mbs. Read speed however, seems to be consistently between 85-95mbs. If you use a 2.0 port then it will be limited by the 2.0 specs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The real fast specs are for USB3; the slower specs are for the drive. Key words are "up to.":-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's all on how your system setup is I have a computer that's almost running at 6 gigahertz out of my processor and I have 32 gigs of RAM and I can read it at 148 megabits a second however when it writes it only Wright at 29 and I have a computer that puts alienware's to their grave honestly it has to do with your entire set up and make sure that you have it plugged into a true USB 3.0 slot hint there blue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most likely due to NOT be using the Flash Drive in a USB 3.0 connection. I have it and it goes an average read speed of 185MB/s in a Inspiron-13-7368. If there is a connection or part of the connection ( a cable/HUB/InternatlHUB/InternalController/un-updated Driver) the speed will slow down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ask the manufacturer.
