“Any idea if this would be good for a very old Dell XPS 8000, which has an i7 860 @2.8GHz and 16GB 1066MHz RAM. I'd be replacing an Nvidia GT 220 (1GB) card. My computer crashes a LOT when playing even simple games, so I'm hoping a GPU upgrade will fix it.”

I upgraded my brother in laws computer that has an i7 7400 quad core and 12 gigs of RAM, and his computer used to crash when playing Overwatch on lowest settings. Granted, he only had Intel onboard graphics. But with this he is playing stable at 60fps on epic settings and it looks great. Low temperatures too! I think it would be a significant upgrade from a gt220.
