What is the recommended cpu to use with the 3060 null

I'm running an I5 9th gen but it's a generic 3060 with a single fan cooling system and runs hot so upgrade if possible. Tried to manual overclock it and it overheated twice in less than a week. It's OK for 580$ if you can get it for that considering our options of availability these days.

I would say at least a 9th Gen i5 or newer/better I would say peak performance gaming/apps that require power & rendering 8 core processor and up. I have a 9th Gen i9 but I also use my pc for gaming/video editing and GIS. It really depends more on use than the card.
