• This is RAM memory, not a solid state hard drive. You could configure some of your installed RAM memory as a virtual disk, but it looks like your question is about permanent storage.

• 1 GB or Gigabyte is 1000 MB or Megabytes, 1 MB is 1000 KB or Kilobytes. 1 TB or Terabyte is 1000 GB or Gigabytes.

• 1 gigabyte = 1024 megabytes. If you need 8,000 megabytes that = 8 Gigabytes.

• 1000 megabytes make 1gigabyte therfore you need 8gb of disc space. But it sounds to me that you require 8gb of hard drive (disk) space not memory.
