I was foolish enough to buy 1 of these and then a year later another 1. Both were horrible. The data transfer rates in a Read operation were relatively slow for a USB 3 drive but weren't that bad. However, the Write rate is abysmal. It was supposed to do 70 MB/s or higher but my experience was less than 1 MB/s on average, slower than any of my old USB 2 thumb drives. the only good thing about these drives is 1/2 terrabyte but I don't think I have enough time in my life to wait for it to be filled up with files.
