• It should work. I agree I wouldn't run apps from it but for storage, it's cheap and functional.

• No i think you need external hard drive storage not sure you can plug it into it but the external has a usb pirt and plug

• You will need a USB otg cable. They should cost no more than 3 bucks. I get mine at Fry's electronics and works flawless.

• You just need a cable/adapters that have the USB port and mini USB like the one that works for the phone changer like Galaxy. However, you need one side that can adapt to regular USB like female end

• Nah pay like another 10 bucks and get a full 500gb HDD or 1 tb for a little more. These things aren't worth it, small yes, but I prefer the HDD's. Especially for the price!!

• I see no reason you couldn't use this to store data from a Win 8.1 machine equipped with a USB port. When you plug it in Windows should recognize it (might take a few seconds) then it will appear with all your other drives under "This PC". Just drag and drop once you get there.
