Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The CPU isn't the issue, it's the motherboard you choose. Make sure you get a high-performance motherboard and you'll likely be fine. At the very least, you can run it at the stock speeds of 2133Mhz. The compatibility will determine if it can run at the XMP rated speed of 3200Mhz. If it doesn't, then just exchange it for another brand but at the same speed. It's quite common with RAM for it to work fine but not on some motherboards.

This ram is DDR4 288 pin, older motherboards can sometimes only be comparable with DDR3 which is a totally different pin size. You have to find out the pin size that will fit your motherboard. MOST DDR4 ram is 288 pin and most newer motherboards are 288 pin
