From my experience pre-ordering at Best Buy, they've added the pre-order bonuses to my existing order without any need for me to pre-order again. So anyone that pre-orders the game now should receive the bonuses too!

I got the monster hunter steel book preorder bonus even though I ordered it before it was announced to be a bonus

As to my experience, I received pre-order bonuses from other games except to this one. I was even told that I didn't pre-order the bonus like it was my fault. It wasn't available back then. It doesn't make sense because I got my pre-order bonuses with MH:Rise and Persona5 Strikers.
