Yes this game can be played 100% independently from pokemon go

Yes, if you like Pokemon games but don't care for Pokemon GO, I think you'll be happy with this game. It takes what was great about main pokemon games and adds in a little simplicity from Pokemon go in terms of how you catch pokemon.

Just as you I didn't play Pokemon Go that much, but the game still holds some of its traditional mechanics such as; when fighting other opponents, gym fights etc... I believe that if you are a pokemon fan you will love the game. Hopefully my answer helped you if not just ask again and I'll try to answer in a better way.

Yes, most definitely. The Pokémon go addition is fun, but it is minor compared to how amazing the rest of the game is.

Dont need the pokemon go app. The app allows you to transfer pokemon from the app to the game. Helps with finishing the pokedex. Esp obtaining the version exclusive pokemon you cant get in game.

It's a reboot of the original red, blue and yellow versions of the game with the big difference being that the catch mechanic is the same as the go series most everything else is the same. With that said I say go for it

If you like Pokémon this is the game to get it’s more like the older ones you can stay in your home or wherever you would like to play it and it’s just really cool because it’s reminiscent of the originals and not a whole lot like Pokémon go.

I would recommend the game, previous experience with Pokemon Go is not necessary and does not hinder your experience with the game at all. However, playing Pokemon Go casually can help a lot with 100% completion.
