Yes, it should add the tote to your cart when you put the game in so you know when it's working. BUT also they randomly cancelled the tote off my order today even though it still adds the bonus to cart both for local pickup and home shipping options and I haven't been able to get an ounce of help from support. So it may come down to first come first serve on release rather than actually being reserved.

This would not be the first time Best Buy failed to provide a pre-order bonus item. There probably are not enough bonus items to satisfy all of the pre-orders, they just don’t bother to tell you that it’s already sold out. This happened to me before.
