Q: QuestionI don’t understand? Waited for the “Drop” at 8 AM and hit the pre-order button exactly at 8:00. Got in line and waited 10 minutes just to be told the product was sold out?! How does that happen?

• A:Answer Yup!! Last week when the booster pack went live it was instantly sold out even though it put you "line" . And I am a member and was set up for alert notifications. Clicked to add item at 10am spun around and then waited...by 10:03am it said sold out ! Best Buy obviously doesn't stop the bots! See my attached screenshots Best Buy, Fix This !

• A:Answer The main reason for this is bots and scalpers, scalpers like to buy out any pokemon card expansion boxes available until it's sold out, they only throw out the common cards for that specific set and only collect the rare full art cards, then they sell those cards to make profit off of it and they repeat the process. They're the main reason why pokemon cards are so expensive nowadays

Q: QuestionWhy wasn't i notified when this Drop became active? This type of hype marketing is reprehensible corporate behavior. If Best Buy inveigles potential customers to pay an annual fee for certain perks, THEN IT SHOULD STAND BY THOSE COMMITMENTS.

Q: QuestionHello. What is the point of your pokemon card drops, normal customers have no chance of buying in time since you have absolutely no bot protection. Everything gets baught in seconds time from businesses and scalpers using bots. Please get bot protection.
