• I had a bought of A-fib last year and mine worked fine during that short period.

• Polar's heart rate monitors are designed to pick up the electrical impulse of the human heart. If the user has a heart condition that interferes with that, then the watch may display erratic or no heart rate readings - Mike @ Polar USA
