• Yes. The calorie counts displayed by Polar Beat app on my iPhone screen and same on my Treadmill are within 3% to each other.

• I use it with endomondo app and works perfect. But I don't Think the caloríes count depends on the heart rate. The app gives me the work zones, wich is better info that the calories Burned.

• Yes, it actively counts calories through the app while working out.

• Not without a fitness app, my fitness partner is the one I use. But yes it syncs with it.
