• It's possible that the unit on display was low on battery, hence reason why it was dim. As for adjusting the display, one can change format with which it is displayed. For example one can have white numbers on a black background or black numbers on a white background. This can be set within the settings of the watch. To do so go to Settings - General Settings - Training View Color.
