Yes and no. I tried two methods. The first method was to turn the brightness control knob almost all the way down. My second method was to install a ND filter I found online. It works “ok” outside. I never got inside shots to look good. I think that’s due to a lack of flash though. Honestly I have had a better experience from my 600 just because of the flash. If you have the folding SX70 with the built in flash and sonar you may get good results.

Please try again later.Yes absolutely compatible it’s the same cartridge and batteries it’s just that Polaroid bakes in an ND filter into their SX-70 film an ND filter just steps the light down example would be underexposing it as 600 film is rated for an ISO of 600-640 and SX-70 is ISO 100-160 so you’d need to adjust your SX-70, modify it or buy an ND filter for either over the lens or over the pack.
