Do i need a receiver to hook this to a tv null

Yes these are just speakers with a powered sub. The speaker level inputs and outputs on the sub are just a pass through. I have to say awesome sound from such small speakers.

Yes a good audio video receiver. A very good speaker set and will need 16gage speaker wire. And buy wall mounting like Definitive technology. Articulatingmount. Or any stands
