• I didn’t see the need for sub woofers once I heard these in my home .

• You need to by a subwoofer separate. The speakers or drivers in a tower speaker are for mid-range.

• Hello and thank you for your question. The XT70 are capable of full resolution playback. However, they do not have a built-in subwoofer. Bass reproduction can always be improved upon by adding a separate subwoofer.
