“Can these speakers handle being rained on? Can they be placed open to the rain and not protected by over hang (Example directly being rained on). Thanks,”

Had mine outdoors for 2+ years with zero protection over them, mounted to the railing of my deck. No problems other than the speaker wire corrodes where the metal is exposed and connects to the speaker after a year or so. Just need to go out and snip back the wire and reconnect. I live in Chicagoland, we get all kinds of weather. Speakers are awesome.
