I have them powered by 130 WPC Rotel amp and the bass response is very strong. Prior to this I used a 70 WPC marantz PM 8006 and bass was much weaker. The Rotel amp out puts almost twice the watts at 4 ohms compared to the PM 8006. The R700 8 inch woofers respond well to more power and over-all sound quality is really improved as well.
