Run speaker cable from receiver to sub woofer.Right front and left front. Run another speaker cable from sub woofer to each bookshelf speaker.

Then connect your bookshelf speaker to the subwoofer speaker ouptuts. You can use the volume and crossover controls on the back of the sub-woofer to get the amount of base that you want. Note that impedance is 8 ohms. This should be OK for most receivers.
