So sorry to hear about your experience with the plantronics 5220. Although I have only had this Earpiece for a few months, the primary reason for my purchase of this particular model was it's noise-cancellation feature...so far, I'd give it an A+ on performance. Is it possible that your unit may have been defective? I'd explore that possibility before returning it...I really like mine! I think you will too.
