“A friend of mine lost the AC adapter for the charging port and i cant seem to find it anywhere for the life of me, so I'm back to relying on the regular cable. Do they sell this specific adapter separately or am i gonna have to buy a whole new kit?”

Just purchase a universal adapter that supplies 5V/ 1-2A.

I did a quick google search, you can find AC Adapters on Amazon you just have to make sure it’s the right size round end to plug into the base of the charger. Hopefully this helps but I understand I may have not actually helped.
