I believe if I remember right when I read the instructions (yes I actually read them) it did say it is a trickle charger and does shut off when charged but even if I am wrong just watch and when the light is green (charged) click the base and it becomes a stand and does not charge anymore
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, light changes from red to green and charge stops.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You press the charging stand down when you want it to charge. The next morning I just push down on the cradle and it lifts enough to not charge. It becomes a stand at that point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not 100 percent sure, but I think it does. I haven't had any issues with this or any other modern charging dock.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, but it has an indicator light for when it's charged and a way to raise the controller off the connector without removing it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Light turn green and you need to press down back on controller to disengage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you have to manually change the position of the controller to stop the unit from charging. I was hoping it would have an auto off feature, but it is very easy to use so it's not a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not appear that it does. The controllers continue to charge even after they're fully filled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
