I'd say no as one set could be on the switch while docked to charge. But I highly recommend the switch pro controller. I have this and find we never use it as our joy cons are on the switch while docked charging and we are using our wireless controllers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It makes it easier to charge the controllers on this Charging dock if you have up to 4 controllers all at once. Without this Dock you would need to charge one pair at a time on your switch then change to the other pair you need to charge. This charging dock can charge the controllers all the same time and would be faster than just charging one pair at a time.
