It's about the same size. All it's for is to have a better grip on the joy con controllers and it serves its purpose for me when I got. The only difference is that it doesn't have the logo like the one that comes with the switch.

This item is definitely bigger than the grip that comes with switch as a full grown adult. It fit comfortable in my hand and feels as if I'm holding a regular controller

It is exactly the same size as the stock grip, it just has a rubber texture on the back
