Our water dispenser does not do that and has never done that. The door closes and stays closed. Perhaps you have a faulty one? I would return it and replace it. We really like ours a lot
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is possible that the unit is not level or something may have been broken during shipping. There should be a plastic latch on the door itself that helps it stay close. Make sure that the dispenser is on a level surface. The check the door latch and also make sure that the door is connected to the dispenser by a top and bottom hinge.
