A:AnswerYes there is in two ways actually. First all three of the dispensary buttons are on top of the machine instead of right in front They are actual buttons you push. Second the hot water button has a slide button next to it that has to be understood to use it and can’t be done by accident. This machine has hot, room temp and cold water buttons. Also there is a third safety feature for hot water. You can turn off the heater to the hot water so it’s room temp. It’s all there everything you need to be child safe. I hope this helps you.
